After finding it very difficult to purchase large colourful lampshades for their own home, Emma and Stephen set about designing and making them themselves. They now pruduce lampshades for both residential and commercial properties.
Stem Lighting was established in 2006 by Emma Armstrong and Stephen Hunt. Emma studied Soft Furnishings and Textile Design at the London Guildhall. Stephen is a cabinet maker,and by combining their skills they have produced Stem Lighting.
Stem Lighting offers a wide range of unique lampshades, complementing both modern and contemporary settings. Sizes start from 7 inch shades, suitable for a table lamp, up to a 24 inch shade suitable for a floor lamp or pendant. Detachable diffusers on sizes over 16 inch can be ordered. Can be made with either EU or UK Fittings. |
